I'm dying to find out..................they say we should hear something by late march or early april. I just wanted to know if anyone else was on pins and needles.

I'm waiting to hear, too. No one told me when to even look for notification! Best of luck!

i'm glad to know someone is in the same boat as me! i called today. She said they received about 60 applications and they are going to fill 20 spaces. She also said she hopes to get some info out by the end of the month!! Good luck to you...........let me know when you hear something and i'll do the same!

Do they only interview for the traditional program at TCU? I spent the whole afternoon yesterday trying to come up with an excuse to call and beg for information!! Looks like you beat me to the punch. LOL! At least only 60 people applied instead of the 400 I read in other places. Let me know as soon as you hear something!:lol2:

Found out a little more when I talked with Sue this week... She said the application committee did not get a chance to meet before Spring Break, but should get together when they get back. At least this makes the walk to the mailbox a little easier.....

thanks for the info.......I've been holding my breath every time i walk to the mailbox. I've also been trying to come up with (another) reason to call and ask. lol. The wait has almost become too much. do you have a plan b? I guess I'll apply to P.A. school if I don't get in.......

I thought about the PA program, but feel it is so limiting as far as career choices as concerned. With an RN, there are inifinite possibilities....

So I guess my plan B would be to keep trying.........

that's true. I'd really like to be a CRNA or NP, but I'd also like to be done with school!! Seems like i've been going forever! I don't know. I guess I'll just have to wait and see. I'm one of those people who tends to way over-analyze and put the cart before the horse....

however, this is the only program i applied to......i missed the testing deadline for TCC

Me too!! I graduated from UNT in 1997 so the majority of my biology would have to be retaken. The only pre-reqs I needed for TCU were nutrition and religion. I'm taking both now. UTA threw out my app because they said their admissions dept did not get everything they needed from UNT. Not really the case, but, oh well! If TCU falls through, I will take additional classes to help my case at UTA & TCC.

i am currently enrolled in micro and lifespan growth and devel. i was pre-med in college so most of my science courses were already completed. i just hope that it won't hurt my chances that i am still taking a science class while they are reviewing my application. yeah, if i don't get in, i suppose i'll take some more classes  or something.

I was premed too, back in the day... My BS is in biology, not the smartest thing I ever did, but I was idealistic at the time. When I talked to Sue, it did not seem to matter that I was currently enrolled in the classes, just that they are on the application and the app is complete (yes, I did make her confirm it for me:lol2: !)

I wouldn't worry about the two classes you're taking now.

Yahoo!!!!!

I got in!!!!!!
