ANYONE in the UK who applied thru NYBON?

Hie everyone

I was wondering if anyone has done their processing with the NYBON or is in the process coz I need some encouragement right now. CGFNS is driving me up the wall. I have been at this thing since July 2005 and my college has sent in 5 transcripts so far and am loosing it. So pliz anyone help incase Im missing something. Thanks for reading and look forward to some replies.

I sympathise with you over the CGFNS. Since registering with them in May 2005, I have so many problems with them, I never receive mail from them, My transcripts had to be sent twice, and it has taken them 8 months to issue my crendential report to my agency. they were supposed to send the Florida Board of nursing a copy and myself, and guess what we both never recived a copy. I have written complaints, telephoned them, but I seem to hit a brisk wall every time. I guess they are just incompetent! I still have to wait to pass the NCLex before they will issue my Visa screen report, and if it takes as long as my previos then it could be 2 years before i relocate. Good luck

Have you actually spoken to an human at CGFNS? Was everything in your transcripts complete?

Even if you go thru another state for licensure, you are still gong to need to deal with CGFNS for the Visa Screen Certificate.

Are they telling you that you are missing something?

Thanks for responding. I have spoken to CGFNS and asked to speak to a supervisor . What they told me with the 1st transcripts was "VISA SCREEN" grabbed them (their words exactly) first so they could not use them this was a set of transcripts. So I asked what to do they said we will write college and ask them to send another validation , then the college got the request and sent it. CGFNS on my online account reflects that they received docs. Then after weeks I asked why no movement then they said The cllege did not specify how many hours surgical and how many medical. So they sent a letter to me and I sent it to ask college to send the clarification on hours which they did. Couriered them.CGFNS said they were not in their envelope.

Then the 4th time I asked them to write my college they did and CGFNS acknowledged receipt and was waiting for review over 6wks.

Then I spoke to a Craig, and a Shawn and a Seal was told call in one week, then in one week then was told a report had been sent to NYBON.

Then NYBON received nothing then I called after 4wks was told the person I spoke to made a mistake.My file has not been looked at at all and they do not know why.

So I then said may I speak to someone in charge then this person put me on hold for 10+mins.Thinking I would hang up.

Then I spoke to supervisor in CREDENTIAls she said they had received the docs and they wanted them in their own envelope not the college one. So she was sending via DHL another request. So I have paid another £20 (20pounds) to my UNI and they are waiting for the request. But I am so tired now.

My VISA SCREEN application was approved and they are waiting for my NCLEX results thats all. But to get past the verification for NY is killing me.

Sorry to repeat my story but it makes me feel better coz you guys understand.

The mystery seems to be that my college is not putting the documents in their CGFNS envelope. and when I asked the so called supervisor why the other customer service people I spoke to did not tell me this before she said well they do not have access to see exactly why my file is not being reviewed which I do not understand.So hopefully after the easter break my college receives the request. But what suprises me is after speaking to that supervisor 5days later I got a letter from CGFNS saying "Thank you for your interest in the CGFNS Credentials Verification Services(CVS)."

I was just thinking this is a big joke. I payed my fees and sent you people my application June 2005 and you said you received it.I can't wait for them to do what I need doing.
