some of my sciences are from spring 2002, and some are from fall 2003. i repeated the a&p within the lvn program at a community college. i really want to transition to rn, but just cannot fathom retaking a&p 1 and 2, micro, nutrition etc. so has anyone transitioned in this same predicament? where was it and what did it take? any advice? oh, and i graduated from lvn school in august of 2007.
thanks for any responses.

Tarleton State University has no time limits on any prerequisite classes. My former coworker, who lives in Arlington, got accepted with prereqs that had been completed in 1998. She is an LVN who got admitted into their LVN-to-BSN transition program back in 2006. By the way, her 2.8 grade point average barely made the cut.
I have heard that BSN programs are easier to get admitted into.

The school that I was pursuing a BSN with did not have a time limit on courses. But that was almost 20 years ago. Now that same school is "impacted" with several impediments to entry, including the time limit clause and a limit on retakes, etc. I believe Excelsior College does not have a time limit on science courses, but has a 5 year limit on nursing courses. You can find out their requirements on their website: http://www.excelsior.edu. This may be an option if you don't mind a distance program.
