Hi!!I just wanna ask if anyone took the exams in Asian and underwent their return demonstration?will they notify all the applicants about the results or only those who have passed the exam?anyone who is in the same boat as I am?thanks!!:wink2:
yes robocop i just took the board last nov.So, i need to wait a long time to be able to apply there.
Well, I guess I'll just wait until I get all the documents needed.
Anyway, thanks for the info.
Aside from the PRC license card and Board certification, You also need to be a BLS provider and an IV therapist.
I also want to apply in this hospital as soon as the results of the latest board exam will be released. Are they hiring now for a staff nurse position? Or just for the volunteer or training position?
When I called them about applying as a staff nurse in AHMC, she told me they have 100 staff nurses in their pool who are ready for deployment. For those who have passed their resume late in January 2009 or in February 2009, they already have their schedule for the initial exam (she can't give me the exact date, but she tells me it's around or after 3 months). They still have 150 people waiting to be screened, but still, it's not an assurance that they would hire one as a staff nurse. So in other words, they are also only for manpooling. Give AHMC a call if you also want to clarify. Good luck to us!

i don't think so. as i've heard and seen, they are expanding on their current site, meaning they'll be needing additional staff. and as what my friend told me who's working there, lots of nurses have resigned from their positions late quarter last year, therefore, it is also an indication that they'll surely be hiring more nurses as much as possible. it's also nice to see that "backers" are not applicable in asian because they really give all their applicants an opportunity to prove themselves with their exams which obviously gives an idea that they really are up to a good quality service to their clients, unlike other hospitals particularly st.lukes and makati med that keeps accepting people just because of these "backers", and to those "backers", just make sure that who you're backing up is really a deserving one for that position cos if not, it will be a shame for you. and to those who're being backed up, shame on yourselves and prove that you really are worth it to be helped in getting in your job.
"What am I going to do with a known being if he doesn't make any sense? It would be just like you've put me in a golden shell with an empty room inside."
