Anyone take the JP exam instead of doing the 120 hours? I'm considering it, just so I can go ahead and be fully licensed (I don't have a job yet). Should I? Do you think it would help me get a job?

i've taken it. it's a joke. you answer the questions till you get them right. say you pick "a", it's the wrong answer, so it doen't move to the next question and asks you to answer again and gives you links if you want to look it up. so you pick "b" still wrong answer, you pick "c", moves to next question.
you seriously wouldn't have to read a question on the test if you didn't want to learn it.
i don't think it's going to help you one way or another in getting a job unless some places just don't want to deal with the 120 hours. really at this point, if you didn't register before June 8, you don't have a choice.
Thanks hownat. I have already got my provisional license (I applied for it back in May), but since I don't have a job yet I thought taking the JP and being fully licensed might help. It would be nice to get rid of the "a" behind the letters RN! But, if I apply for the JP, it will cancel my provisional license # that I have put on all my apps. I'm not sure what to do!
