Anyone take the Hurst Review for NCLEX? Is it worth the money?

Published

We are being offered the Hurst Review for the NCLEX, but it is $350 for a 3 day review. I'm wondering if it is worth the money...any advice would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Its totally worth the money spent. As long as you put the effort in on your part you will do great. I took the live review a week after I graduated, there was a problem with my paperwork for BON that took 5 months to resolve. I took the online review with HURST for a discount and reviewed for a month. Took boards on Tues finished with 75 questions and passed. Have to put the effort into whatever path you take for NCLEX prep. Hope this helps. :twocents:

I posted this response to several other posts. I utilized the Hurst online review the Christmas before I graduated. I used no other program and did not practice hundreds of questions. My exam was delayed 6 months after graduation. My grades were average. I passed with 75 questions. I highly recommend this review. When they say the exam is about making sure you are a safe nurse, they are right. You have to know enough facts ( she says Know core content!), but must also understand the larger picture (which is where Hurst excels).
