Anyone starting GSU Fall 2014 for Psych NP?

Published

Just got my acceptance letter a few days ago,and I am super excited! Its the only place I applied to so I am so happy. I did the same for nursing school, only applied to 1 program and got in. Cost is a big factor to me so I had my heart set on going to GSU.

I graduated nursing school May 2012 and I started working in psych shortly after graduation and passing NCLEX. I always knew that I wanted to do psych so I am thrilled to be taking the next step.

I'd love to hear from anyone starting in the Fall as well, whether its for Psych or one of the other NP programs.

Congratulations Mangopeach! I will be starting the FNP program at GSU Summer 2014. I too only applied to GSU. I received my undergrad degree from GSU in 2004 so it only made sense to return to my foundation.

Congratulations again and Good luck to you!

Congrats Mangopeach and WannabeaFNP! Is GSU ...Georgia State?

Mangopeach, is the PMHNP program online, classroom or blended format? Will they help you find preceptors?

Good luck with your program!

Thanks, Rachael
