  1. http://npresidencyasheville.homestead.com/ another Asheville resource that may be of help to you
  2. Congrats and good luck. This organization in Asheville may be a resource: MAHEC I would recommend getting in contact with their "regional services" division and they may have some advice for your situation.
  3. Thanks WannabeFNP and good luck with the program!
  4. Congrats Mangopeach and WannabeaFNP! Is GSU ...Georgia State? Mangopeach, is the PMHNP program online, classroom or blended format? Will they help you find preceptors? Good luck with your program! Thanks, Rachael
  5. Intercollegiate Consortium for a Master of Science in Nursing: Southeastern Louisiana University McNeese State University University of Louisiana at Lafayette Nicholls State University FAMILY PSYCHIATRIC/MENTAL HEALTH Intercollegiate Consortium for a Master of Science in Nursing
  6. I will be attending through ETSU as well. This is my first semester and I'm taking Theory and Patho. Good luck to all of us! I'm nervous and excited! I just ordered a few of the textbooks last night from Amazon.com...getting a couple used books and going to try renting a couple also. There are quite a few books for the Theory class! Hopefully i'll have my books before class starts...next week. Rachael
  7. I will be starting the RODP FNP program this semester as well. I am registered for Theory and Patho. My home school is ETSU. I plan to take Pharm. and Health Assessment over the summer and do the first clinical semester in Fall. I have a good lead on a clinical site for FNP I at my local county health department. Hoping to get things secured soon. I live in North Carolina, by the way. Good luck to all! Rachael
  8. Hi Barinbass, Thanks for the info. and CONGRATS to you!! How did you decide which certification exam to take (aren't there 2, either ANCC or AANP ?). Also...what is the Patterson's website? Do you have the link? I live in NC and am planning to start the Tennessee RODP FNP program in January. I will check with NCBON and see what I can find out. Thanks for the tip. From my understanding, as an RODP student, I will be considered a student of my home school (there are 6 different Tennessee schools in the Regents consortium). My home school will be ETSU. Thanks, Rachael
  9. You can do your clinicals in NC or anywhere that has a clinical affiliation agreement with RODP. The program will also work to establish new affiliation contracts with potential preceptors that are requested by students. I plan to do my clinicals in NC.
  10. Congrats lemur 87!!
  11. Hi Adunn, I will be starting the FNP track in Jan. 14 as well. I plan to go part-time. My home school will be ETSU.
  12. Family Nurse Practitioner Concentration | Regents OnlineGood luck in your search. I also live in NC and will be starting the Tennessee Board of Regents Online degree program (RODP...see link above) in January 2014. I don't think the GRE was required for admission (but I had already taken it, so I just went ahead and sent my scores, but I think it was optional). IMPORTANT: This program requires you to find your own clinical preceptors. Best of luck.
  13. Hi Meglroyal I am planning to go to the orientation. I just emailed the grad. school and found out it is Monday Aug. 19th from 3:30 to 6:30 in the Martha Culp Auditorium. Are you going? We can exchange email and phone #s. I emailed the advisor (identified in my acceptance letter) and she sent me a packet of info., including 2 forms I had to sign and fax back. Good luck with everything! Let's keep in touch! Rachael (rgbrn)
