Hi. What is your agency? I was not hired by anyone. I only have my credentials assessed by SRNA. If the assessment turned out okay, I will start to apply. I just sent my application last week of April and I have received an email from them few days ago.

Mercan Canada here in Metro Manila.. I wish our eligibility would be coming already. I had my application sent last February and I still doesn't have an eligibility yet. Just waiting for my visa and eligibility.. I have a job offer at Regina Gen

That's interesting.Have you applied to other province of Canada before? I asked that because you already had a job offer but doesn't eligibility to sit for CRNE yet? I guess thats the benefit of having an agency. :)

My job offer is for a graduate nurse item. I haven't applied to any province/territory. It was first time applying to any country for that matter.

I have PM for you.. but then again I could answer it again here since it is related to topic.. they were the ones who tried to contact me.. they didn't interview me, they only reviewed my credentials.. the ones who interviewed me were the Canadian employers last January 2009.. yup, I am the same gambutrol in the POEA forum.. hehe.. I guess I am a forum addict

When I applied at mercan I had only one year experience in the ICU. Now I am about to turn two years old. Wow, I am turning into a toddler soon. hehe.. Canadian employers only need one to two years experience, granting that the experience you have acquired is comparable to the cases that their units are handling. January hires from mercan (other agencies also) are mostly from special units like ICU and OR (also nursing homes and long term care facilities). They have scrutinized my experience one-by-one. They go for the quality of the experience not the quantity since their are a lot of senior nurses who didn't pass the interview. One of my senior wasn't able to pass.

me and my friend sent our application to srna october 2008, there is no decision up to this time, they sent us check lists and told us to be patient as there is an increase in number of applicants.

geez that was already 8 months. Have you followed it up again this time? If they have received all your required documents, they should have a decision early this year..

what? you have waited 8 months.. wow.. most of my batchmates got their eligibility for 3-4 months only.. and most of them started their application January 2009..

A lot will vary depending on how many applications their receive and whether your documents are received in a timely manner
