HI!
My husband and I just found out that I am pregnant :balloons: . I'm super excited :rotfl: , but now I worry about being able to continue straight through school :uhoh21: . I sure don't want to loose anytime. I'm imagining I'll be due around May of 2006. Then, I'll have the whole summer to be a new mommy....and, then I'd like to somehow just get right back into the swing of things the following Fall semester.......Is this being realistic? This will be our first child, so I really don't know what to expect in regards to going to school while "being with child." I want to be a great new mommy, so obviously our baby will come first, but if possible I'd like to still graduate on time (BSN program).
If anyone has some wisdom for me, please share.
Thanks!!!
I was!!! =) I was pregnant through half of my second semester of clinicals, and all through third semester... and delivered on November 18. I only missed like, one class and one exam. And, I missed my last OB clinical session because I delivered in the middle of it!! No joke. =) My classmates were all there when I delivered... two of them got to watch and help with the C section, and others were in the nursery assessing my daughter when she arrived. Very neat experience. :)

WOW, that's so cool.
LeeLee...You shouldn't have any problem. One of my classmates found out she was pregnant in Health Assessment class. She already had several boys. That time, had a girl! 2 years later, had another girl, right after graduation.Just to be curious, where do you go to school?
Hi Suebird,
I go to Loyola University
