Anyone planning to start SCCC in August of '08?

Published

Hi! I will be starting the Nursing program at SCCC next Fall (August of 2008) as long as I am one of the first 80 to pass the Dosage Test. Is anyone else looking into starting at the same time? I am trying to find someone that I could possibly study with, or at least someone who will be going through the same things as I will be. Thanks and hope to hear from you!!! :yeah:

Hi vaileheart and welcome!!

Congrats!! And best wishes!!

Have you taken that dosage test yet? Do they offer a class teaching you what you need at SCCC? Just wondering as STLCC has some EXCELLENT classes offered for nursing math, including at least one that's offered online!!

Enjoy your summer!! ;)

Hi, sorry it has taken me a few days to write back...I will be taking the Dosage test this coming Jan. I know they do offer a class and I am really considering taking it, I figure it can't hurt to take it even if I didn't really NEED it.

Hi-

I just passed my first year at SCCC, and I can tell you- the dosage class is nice if you can take it.

You will tell you- you are going to develop some close relationships very quickly with your fellow students. You will study together. There will be a message board you can post questions on.

Do yourself a favor, and organize your things. You will look at it all and go, "no way!" and it will come to you- trust me. Organize time with family, for studying, and for play.

Have no worries- you will find yourself studying with friends before your second test.

Thank you for responding and it is great to have someone on here that goes to the same school as I do. I will be starting probably the same time you are finishing up! Thanks for your advice, I will take it all!! I have heard the same-about studying and becoming kind of like a "family" with the other students. I am really excited. Thanks for responding!!
