anyone pass nclex-rn in the 120s?

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

i took nclex-rn this past friday (sept 12) and it stopped in the 120s. i got about 7 sata, 1 math, 8 meds, and tons of "who's call will you take first, who will you see first, who will you transfer out" and infection control. i seriously feel that i failed... like 80 percent sure that i failed. i will post my results, when i receive them.

my question is this..... who has passed in the 120s?

i guess im looking for "hope"

its either pass or fail on your result. there is no definitive number of items where one can say he/she pass or fail. it depends on how you answer each question may it be right or wrong. it is the computer that gauge whether the one taking it is above 95% passing or 95% below . just pray and hang on to your dreams. their is no result yet so dnt conclude that you fail. be positive with your result. :loveya:

I took the NCLEX in June and had between 125 - 135 questions. I had the same type questions you had. I didn't recognize some of the meds on the test. I was sure that I failed. Turns out that I PASSED! I'm sure you will too! Good luck to you.

hey tobby,

i just wanted to say a special thank you. after creating this "thread" that night. i tossed and turned in bed. i started to pray and just as i had finished praying. my cell phone alerted me that i had an email. when i checked it, it was your reply. your response made me smile and put me at ease. i was able to fall asleep (3 am or so). around 6 am i woke up, which is really unusual because i love to sleep. i decided to check the brn license verification and to my surprise, my name was there!!! :D

call it coincidence.....

...... but thank you that night for giving me faith...hope.... and peace. :redbeathe

Congrats, now the learning really begins :)

My instructor said that alot of people go past the minimim number of questions. He said that if you can remember the last question you had on the test before it cut off, and you are pretty sure that you got that one correct, then most likely passed. BTW ( he has written some questions for the NCLEX exams) Good luck!
