Guys, if anyone is willing to relocate, the Fort Duncan Regional hospital is always hiring. That is where I am now, originally from Dallas-graduated in May 2011. Most of our nurses are from out of town. They are probably still offering 24000 bonus if you stay for two years. It is a good hospital, but the town is small and not much to do on weekends. But, if you need to get experience and cant find a position, consider it! Google fortduncanregional and apply! I hope it helps some that are finding it difficult to get positions-mom35
Hi guys, they had to remove the name and number I posted, I understand why and I really should have known better than to post it. So I guess I need to direct you guys to googling Fort Duncan regional hospital and using the phone number there. I hope ya'll get a response due to I know we need people. Just on the night shift alone three people have left in the past month so I know they need rn's.
Are you working with any out-of-state RNs? I will be graduating next year and I am looking to relocate. I currently reside in southern Illinois. How is work now that your orientation is over?
We have many out of staters. Since out of orientation, it is pretty stressful, but that is just how it is everywhere. We take seven patients and that is pretty high. That is why we need more nurses. If I have only six, it seems to go okay, but then I get an admission and it is like all hell breaks loose-lol! But such is the life of the RN. Anyway, anyone wanting to apply and relocate please do so

Is Spanish an absolute necessity to live there? I do have some time to brush up before I graduate, but as of now, I do not speak Spanish.
Also, have you known of anyone to get hired on before they graduate?
Thanks, mom35, for all of your helpful info!
