Hi, I am new to this forum and I am wondering if anyone has graduated from mcc in lowell the 2 year rn program. Also if anyone is in the middle of the program or applying for it. I am applying for 2010 evening program. I completed my prereqs already. Didn't know if anyone had any thoughts bout it. Also what is a good bsn program to follow through with. Please reply with any thoughts or comments. Thanks. Erin
Hi, the hours and days for the evening program are thurs and fri nights. I believe it is 530 to 730 and the skills lab is 430 to 830. Clinicals are on sat and those are from 730 to 130 every week. The days during the week may change per semester. Are u applying to the evening program? I know fall 2010 classes are already full. Just apply quick for the 2011 class. :)
Hi,
Thank you for replying back to me.
Yes, I'm thinking about it. The evening program
Those aren't bad hours!
I'm going to attend an info session.
I know I just need Chemistry.
Did you apply?
Ive been taking all my pre-rec's at Mount Wachusetts college,
I was in the LPN program, But missed my final (1st cycle by 2 pts) (I'm so mad) so now I have to wait till Jan to get back in- so I'm just thinking to just do the RN program instead? any advice?
Thank you again
Hi, well I can tell u middlesex does not require chem as a prereq as long as u took it in high school. Definitely attend an info session. They give u all the info u need to apply to the program. I did apply last year. I was accepted, but waitlisted for 2011. Its the evening program I am going for. That program only admits in sept. The day program admits in sept and january. Maybe u could apply to middlesex, but still try to complete ur lpn so by the time u finish that, u could be accepted to the evening program. There will be a wait, prob until 2011 or 2012. U would be a step ahead by having ur lpn and u would be admitted into the 3rd semester at mcc. Goodluck either way!

James- Thank you for the information. It really helps with my financial planning.
Ernidel- I will be in that class in Bedford the TR 12-115, so maybe we will be able to meet in person, that would be cool, huh?
Patno- Welcome- I also trolled this site and was hesitant to sign up and post at first, but now, I love it. You get to talk to all these people who are in the same boat as you, hear their stories and find out, that you are not alone in your journey. I feel that I am not so in the dark about the admissions process and that people really do get in, and it is not an urban legand, it is people that I know, which is cool.
