I am going to Logan, wil graduate this year!
Hi Lori,
I was just looking to see if anyone was near me. I always see posts from people in Indy or Columbus, etc.. but never have seen anyone from my neck of the woods.
Are you in LPN or the transition class?
I am getting ready to apply after i retake my TEAS on the 18th. I passed with an 81, but I'm hoping to improve my score. I will be applying to the part-time ASN, if I don't get in then I will put in for the LPN and bridge to RN right away. I'm going to be 40 next month so I don't have a lot of time to mess around.
Can you tell me what you think of the program so far?
Thanks & nice meeting you!

Hey Robin,
I am going to ivytech in Kokomo....second semester of the program...will graduate in December.....just turned 40.
Good luck to you and buzz me if there are any questions I can answer for you. ~Dan
Thanks for replying winterbot:)
I decided to only apply at Logan for the pt ASN that will be starting in the fall and also the LPN. I'm hoping to get the ASN but, if not then hopefully will get in the LPN and then transition to RN afterwards. I lve in Royal Center, so Logan works best for me. I'm hoping I wasn't too hasty in not applying to Kokomo and Wabsh as well.
Do you mind letting me in on your scores? In another post I wrote that I heard that the ASN in Kokomo last semester was 79 teas/ 3As 1B on pre reqs.
Do you know if this is true?
Thanks again and congrats on almost making it thru your program!!!

hi i'm from wabash! i just recently heard about the part-time asn program at logan and will try to get into that in fall of 09, if i can't get into the full-time program in wabash (depending on if i can quit work). do you know how many people they accept each year?
They are accepting 20 for Fall 08. You might check to be sure, but I thought I heard they would not have another class until the new campus is built. I might have heard wrong though. I'm not sure when they are expecting to finish construction. They have broken ground but that is all I have seen so far.
Are you finished with your pre reqs yet? Most people I know applied to Kokomo, Logan, & Wabash. I only applied to Logan.
Good Luck, I hope you get in where you want the most:)
Hopefully, I will hear if I am in by this time next month.
Thanks for the reply! Wabash accepts 20 too. I will be applying to Logan, Wabash, Kokomo and Marion. I have 1 pre req class to finish and that's psych, which I'll be taking that this summer. In the meantime, I believe I'll start taking other courses to 'minor' in somethig else.
