Anyone know when USA will send out notices for Spring??

Published

I applied for the Family Psych NP program, part time. Still waiting.

Just wondering if anyone has heard anything or talking to anyone concerning when we would all find out?

Did your notification come as an email or snail mail? If snail mail, was it a packet or simple letter. I am trying to prepare myself for opening the mailbox... still waiting on word about ENP. I haven't seen anyone mention anything on any blogs about notification from that program. I also heard "by Nov 1st", but I am growing very anxious...

I applied for spring '11 FNP program. I haven't heard anything as of yet. Like you, I'm feeling anxious.

I think it probably depends which program you have applied to. Peds notoriously is not as impacted as FNP and ANP. This is my second application with them. I also applied for Fall but they lost a couple of my transcripts. They tried to pull that again with me but I "pitched a fit"...Not so sure about this school anymore!..I am getting my essays together for other schools...Already got in at St. Josephs and taking 1 class but its an FNP program and I really want to work with adults...Well, I guess I will just have to wait and see....

My acceptance letter was sent via snail mail. Two pages -- one is my schedule & the other gives a website to go to. At the website, you have a "to do" list of things that have to be completed by early November. This includes things like TB tests, drug test, background check, vaccinations, physical exam, etc. Therefore, my acceptance is conditional upon all of these things being turned in.

I would think there are many less Peds applicants than in the adult practitioner areas. That is probably why I have my letter already. Originally, I remember being told that letters would be sent out by November 1st. Give it time although I know how hard it is to wait at the mailbox each day.

Good luck Lady! Thank you for responding. I will be hoping the ENP is one of the tracts that is not as impacted! I still did not get anything in Saturday's mail. I had emailed the USA CON NP person on Friday (AL time the office was already closed). I am hoping to get a response tomorrow. After reading your experience I will now want to re-verify that there was not an issue with my application. I did get an email from them 7/12 that my application was received. Thanks again.

Lifes-a-beach, I really appreciate your words of wisdom. I will try to hang on another week. At least now I won't freak if I see a regular envelope when I open the mailbox. I will have to read it first.. :)

You guys have been such a great help!

Does anyone now what books are required/suggested for the NU 545 Physio-pathological bases of advanced nursing course? I don't have any homework to do, so I thought I would start brushing up on A&P.

PS....still no word yet.....
