western career college in Sacramento offers a LVN to RN bridge program. I thought this sounded great but its going to cost you an arm and a leg and some colleges wont accept thier credits so you cant use this if you want to get your BSN later on. I totally understand where your coming from, I graduate with my LVN and ASN in May and I want to go on to get my RN and hopoefully BSN but I cant seem to find anywhere that I would get into right away thats FULLY acredited and wont cost me a million dollars. I really dont want to move away from Nor Cal either since I am just moving back. I also heard about one in Redding, but I really dont want to move to redding!

There are quite a few options, depending what you're looking for. For community colleges, there's American River College, Sacramento City College (both in Sac), Sierra (in Rocklin), Solano Community College (Fairfield), Yuba (Yuba City), Delta College (Stockton). Then there are private & more expensive programs, Western Career (I think?), and Unitek. And there's a new program, LVN to BSN online thru Sonoma State University/Indiana State University. Good luck!

Contra Costa College in the SF Bay Area has a 1 year program. It's a JC, cheap, and has the highest NCLEX pass rate in the area!
Has a lottery system though. However, you don't have to be a resident.

Pacific Union College, based in Angwin, CA (between Calistoga and St. Helena) has an excellent LVN to RN program that only requires students to attend classes every 5 weeks, for four days in a row during each quarter. They also have an LVN to RN program based out of the Travis Air Force Base campus. The following link will take you to the LVN to RN web address. http://www.puc.edu/PUC/academics/Academic_Departments/Nursing_Dept/pdf/TAFB%20App%20Pkt.pdf
OR you can check it out yourself at http://www.PUC.edu
