LPN to BSN @ Indiana State U...here is the info i got!!!
Oh my, You have made me so scared to countinue with this program. I have already signed a contract with TCN. I have already done classes, applied to Indiana state ect. The only thing I have left to do is finish this Chem course I am taking (wasnt even going to try to CLEP that bad boy) and take the TEAS test. Then I'm all set. Now that I am into it I would have rather done a LVN to RN in person then a LPN to BSN online. Its so frustrating sometimes!

freaking out
Soooo, I graduate in May of this year with my LVN from Copper Mountain College. (BTW if anyone in LA or San Diego needs an LVN program try Copper Mountain College. Its 11 months long and the desert sucks and the instrustor will scare the living crap out of you but there is pretty much no wait and they have a 100% NCLEX pass rate for the last 6 years!) Anyways I am all freaked out about passing the NCLEX, finding a real job (because it seems no one in Nor Cal want to hire LVNs besides nursing homes) and because I cant find an LVN to RN where I could possiblge get a BSN anywhere! I am so frustrated with theory, care plans, NCLEX books, and taking the test. I totally feel like I am not ready and I dont know anything. Its really frustrating and I am supposed to be studying right now but I cant get into it!

Anyone know of any LVN to RN bridge programs in Northern California? Thanks^^
western career college in Sacramento offers a LVN to RN bridge program. I thought this sounded great but its going to cost you an arm and a leg and some colleges wont accept thier credits so you cant use this if you want to get your BSN later on. I totally understand where your coming from, I graduate with my LVN and ASN in May and I want to go on to get my RN and hopoefully BSN but I cant seem to find anywhere that I would get into right away thats FULLY acredited and wont cost me a million dollars. I really dont want to move away from Nor Cal either since I am just moving back. I also heard about one in Redding, but I really dont want to move to redding!

I want something fast and then get my BSN later on. When I go on the website they arnt very descriptive about the program. Does anyone know anything about the days/time, pricing, pre reqs? Any help would be most apreciated! Thank You!

Thinking about Nursing
Help! I am a third year child psychology major, but I have a feeling that this would be the wrong choice. I have been researching becoming a pediatric nurse, but I am worried. In highschool I never took bio, and I am scared to start taking classes and make a change. I already have E.C.E units (early childhood) and psychology units under my belt, but it dosnt feel right. Nursing sounds like it might be the right choice. I have a love for children, and for taking care of people. How many years did it take for you to get your degree? How hard was nursing classes? I have to work 40 hours a week in order to pay my bills, but I have been able to do that so far. Do you ever get used to giving shots? PLEASE HELP! I am full of questions and scared.
