Been looking but cant find anything to fullfill my dream experience of working in Antarctica as a nurse. Any ideas on where to apply for a position?

If you google Antarctica employment, the first links will supply the information you are looking for. Kind of extreme travel nursing!

That took a 2 second Google search.
Any nurses working at McMurdo have to have flight experience and certification. They usually seek military background.

They have hospitals there? I thought there just researchers, penguins and polar bears. Sounds neat
Have you been there before or is this your first time?? What exactly will you be doing there??

Can you post about your credentials? I'm very curious, I know they want flight nurse experience. All I would have is ER. Thanks :)

I'm interested in travel nursing in Antarctica as well! Would love to hear about your experience there! I have a friend who worked out there for a bit, but she is not a nurse. Would be interesting to hear what credentials they are looking for as well.

Hi,
I am interested in doing this kind of work (read: it's my life goal.) I'm still in nursing school, and not sure how to get started in the right direction. Ideas? I'd like to talk to someone who has done it.
