Does anyone have information on any of these London hospitals?
The Portland Hospital
The Princess Grace Hospital
The Wellington Hospital
The Lister Hospital
London Bridge Hospital
The Harley Street Clinic
the Hospital of St John & St Elizabeth
The first 6 are HCA facilities. In my search they were listed as "private" hospitals. Any information would be appreciated. PM me if you feel it is more appropriate.
Thank you

Harley Street is where the wealthier patients go for their care. It is definitely covered under NHS, all private pay. It is medical office after medical office, and the HSC is located there.
thanks Suzanne.

I have put the links in for those hospitals, but they are of course, commercial companies, so a less biased opinion might be useful and some info is available at http://www.nhs.uk/England/Hospitals/AllHospitals.aspx
Hope this info is helpful.
thank you.

I have worked in some of these hospitals as they belong to a group under HCA - also another well known group of hospitals in the USA. They have a big influence in Central London and are always growing.
The Wellington Hospital, London Bridege & Harley Street are more catered with ICU facilities - Harley st do paediatrics as does the Portland - cases are elective mainly cardiothoracic surgery at London Bridge & Wellington North, Wellington South Neuro/ orthopaedics, plastics and general surgery as is Lister - also provide fertility services, Princess Grace.

That is just the kind of info I was looking for.
Does working for a private or HCA hospital in the UK that much different that the NHS?
Do these hospital have the same HCA reputation as US HCA hospitals. HCA hospital company is not the most well liked in the US.
