One of the local schools here in WA state is going to start a hybrid RN program. They currently have a 2 year Associates degree full time....the hybrid program will be classes online and clinicals and labs on weekends at school. It will take 3 years instead of the 2 full time in person.
Is anyone already doing this type of program? How do you like it?
I am really excited about this option as I would prefer to have a more flexible schedule with small children. My only other choice here is to do an LPN program at another school which has a part time option but then you have to work 1000 hours as an LPN before applying back to the RN bridge program....all within 5 years otherwise you need to redo the science classes again! Arrghh......
I love online learning and actually learn best that way.
Thanks!
