I'm thinking it should be soon...but just wondering if anyone knows when they are going out...or if they have already gone out. I heard there were 500 applicants for Manchester.:uhoh21:
Hey Talulah, I just wanted to let you know that one of my friends just got her letter and got into Manchester and she scored a 127 composite on her NLN. She also is just completing A&P 1 so she didn't get any extra points for that. If entrance is based mainly on NLN scores then I would think you would be very high up on the waitlist :)
I am keeping my fingers crossed that you hear that you got moved up off the waitlist and into the program very soon!
I got a call from manchester yesterday...I got into there program..I also got a call from Laconia yesterday and I got a spot in there program. So this means that I have a spot at NHTI, Laconia, Manchester and Rivier!! What do I DO!
Consider yourself lucky! And there is a huge difference (in miles) between Laconia and the others!!! While i've heard Laconia has a fantastic program, you'll be spending so many long days in clinical that you really wont want to pick one thats very far away. Look up stats on each school (NCLEX passing rate, etc) and decide which one would be the most convenient and closest for you. Good luck!
Wow, that was quick Jamie-Sue, congratuations!! I am still waiting to get my initial letter from Manchester! I think maybe today is the day. Did they call you? And how long do they give you to make a decision, is it two weeks or 30 days? does anyone know? Hopefully I get it soon so I can figure out what I am going to do. I have no idea where I will go if I get bumped off the waitlist in Stratham and I get into Manchester. I already paid my deposit to hold my spot at NHTI, but I really don't know what I will do either.
Jaime-Sue, what campus is closest to you?

Talulah, I'm not sure how long the lists are...Stratham has 25, but all the different ccs are so different with their own sets of rules and all. I can't imagine it would be too much longer than 25 though, I wouldn't think you would need any more considering there are only 56? seats to begin with. Stay positive!
