Hey all,
I was just wondering if anyone that applied to columbia university CRNA program to start summer of 2010 has heard anything about an interview yet.
Congrats to all of you who got accepted to Columbia!! That's really awesome. I was wondering if you guys could give any advice- I'm planning on applying to Columbia for their CRNA program starting summer of 2011. If you could just give me some info on GPA, GRE score, whether or not you have a CCRN, years of experience, letters of recommendation (who did you use), or anything else you think would be helpful, I would really appreciate it. I've had 2 years critical care MICU/SICU experience (and before that 1.5 years of ER-although I know that doesn't count) and carry a 3.7 GPA from NYU's BSN program. I have my CCRN and will take the GRE in the summer. Just looking for what others were accepted with. Thanks, and again, congrats!
Your stats are pretty competitive, so I wouldn't worry. Columbia does have pre-reqs such as physic, chem, & stats so make sure you take these courses and do well on them. Check out thier website, they have a lot of information. I have my CCRN and used references from my nurse manager and clinical coordinator/educator and my preceptor. pm me if you have any more questions.
Hello! Just wondering if any accepted future SRNAs are going to be attending the Open House at Columbia January 29, 2010? I live out of town & I may not be able to make it due to my crazy work/school schedule. If anyone is attending & so kind, I was wondering if you can please update me on the information that is presented so I know what to expect. I would also pay postage if you can get me a copy of any handouts. I appreciate it a lot! Thanks guys, looking forward to meeting everyone!!
