Anyone going to Normandale Community College for Spring 2015?

I would be really happy to know other people like me!

I applied to both NCC and ARCC. Normandale CC is my first option though.

Just wondering, when do Normandale CC applicants receive their acceptance letter (if accepted)? In their website, it says late November which is probably NOT the case.

Hello. I'm starting my 3rd semester next month at NCC. From what I understand, the application deadline for winter semester is October 1 so I'm guessing it would be late November before they have all of the applications completed. Not a lot of time to prepare... But you can do it. Good luck!!

Are you starting the third semester of the nursing program? If so, that would be awesome!

Do you have any advice that you could share with me regarding the nursing program? (More preferably at NCC). For instance, any particular professors, course I should watch out for?

I would also like to know which clinical the students go to? A brief description of how the clinical rotation works would be nice.

Yes I'm starting the 3rd semester in the program next month. We are the second to last cohort of the old program.. the new students coming in for fall will be starting the new program that transitions to a BSN.

Our first clinical site was at St. Gertrudes or Martin Luther Manor. Second semester was at Methodist Hospital. I think those can change though depending on room for students etc..

Basically you rotate in lab one week then clinical the next. If you get accepted they have an orientation session that helps to answer all of your questions!! Good luck to you!!
