Competition for those programs is very keen. Check into the programs you want to get into and see what they look for (you might want to take a few additional chemistry courses). As for a masters, I would like to get into a Nurse Practitioners program someday.........
I have heard that I will have serious competition when I apply for a nurse anesthesia. I will look into the extra chem classes. Thanks
After I get through school I have to spend a year in a trauma setting to get experience as an RN. Then I can enter into the 27 month fun of Nursing Anesthesia. Anyone been or have any advice about the difficulty of the courses involved. Thanks
I just got accepted into a BSN program, but my ultimate goal is to become a CRNA. I have been doing well in my pre-req's and I hope to continue doing well to make myself attractive to CRNA programs.
Roger that.
Still thinking about parking my butt in Texas and trying to weasel my way into a SRNA deal at one of those schools in the Houston area.
Right now I'm working on my ADN, but I have no intention of stopping at anything less than a Masters. (Wonder who's gonna pay for that?? :uhoh21: ) Oh well - I'll worry about that later!
.........Now where's that burrito??..............

I start am Accelerated BSN program in May. I have no intention of stopping short of becoming a CRNA, either.
As for who's going to pay... hopefully a hospital will offer to pay my tuition in return for signing on with them.
