Anyone going for there masters

After I get through school I have to spend a year in a trauma setting to get experience as an RN. Then I can enter into the 27 month fun of Nursing Anesthesia. Anyone been or have any advice about the difficulty of the courses involved. Thanks

Competition for those programs is very keen. Check into the programs you want to get into and see what they look for (you might want to take a few additional chemistry courses). As for a masters, I would like to get into a Nurse Practitioners program someday.........

I have heard that I will have serious competition when I apply for a nurse anesthesia. I will look into the extra chem classes. Thanks

I just got accepted into a BSN program, but my ultimate goal is to become a CRNA. I have been doing well in my pre-req's and I hope to continue doing well to make myself attractive to CRNA programs.

I'd love to in some point of my life but becuase I'd like to further my education. Right now I'm taking baby steps and of course need to finish my ADN and keep going :)

I'm a nurse practitioner in London........its very different here but I've just started a masters in respiratory care.............gulp!

Is there anyone out there pursuing a Neonatal NP degree? I plan on starting mine after a year of NICU experience, but hear that NNP's get paid LESS than staff RN's in the NICU. PLease tell me your experience!

I will hopefully be saying the same thing someday!

Roger that.

Still thinking about parking my butt in Texas and trying to weasel my way into a SRNA deal at one of those schools in the Houston area.

Right now I'm working on my ADN, but I have no intention of stopping at anything less than a Masters. (Wonder who's gonna pay for that?? :uhoh21: ) Oh well - I'll worry about that later!

.........Now where's that burrito??..............

I start am Accelerated BSN program in May. I have no intention of stopping short of becoming a CRNA, either.

As for who's going to pay... hopefully a hospital will offer to pay my tuition in return for signing on with them.

I have taken Gen chem 1,2, and 3 and organic 1 and 2. Is that enough chemistry?
