Anyone going to LCCC?

U.S.A. Pennsylvania

I see that this college hasn't been mentioned here and I'm just wondering if anyone has gone or is looking to go to Luzerne County Community College? I'm already a student there and I'm just 3 or 4 classes shy of getting my business administration degree, however, I'm changing my curriculum (believe me, I WILL complete the business degree, I will graduate with 2 degrees) and I'm hoping to get accepted into the Nursing program, I'm just waiting to receive my letter in the mail to tell me which date I take the NET on :nuke:

Oop, I should mention I'm applying for Fall 2009 and I already have most of my general classes taken. By the time fall comes the only general ones I'll need for the nursing sequence is Micro and A & P 2

By best suggestion for not being singled out, is to not make waves, and to just blend in. Volunteer the correct answers of course, but not all the time. ;) I found the NET pretty easy, so I don't have advice for that.

Did you buy the L.C.C.C. NET study guide to help you prepare for your NET?

Mine is scheduled on my birthday, which is June 20th. I've bought NET books over the Inter Net, but lately I've found out that only L.C.C.C.s study guide is advised. It's expensive, but I'll get what I need to succeed.

Thanks for the advice for the Nursing Program. I will keep it in mind, indeed.

Oh, and which aspect of the Nursing Program did you like and dislike the most--sorry, but I had to ask. LOL

I'm thinking the clinicals will be thrilling yet stressful.

I did get the study guide from the book store.

I found pediatrics most stressful, but that was due to the instructor I had. It is a rough program mostly b/c of the amount you have to learn in so little time, and instructors expect perfection.

I've been accepted to LCCC's nursing program that starts Fall 2010 at Main Campus. Just thought I'd bump up this thread for anyone else who may have been accepted or is waiting on a letter still!

Hey there! I got accepted into the program at the main campus as well. When are you to go meet with your advisor?

I'm registering on March 23rd at 2:30...I can't wait :)

I have to go on the 22nd. I am excited but scared at the same time.

Hello. I am new to this website & saw your thread. I just got accepted into LCC's nursing program & was wondering what you thought about it & how you're doing. Going by your post you should be about a year into it, right? I am scared to death!
