anyone going to Hondros?

Hi, i am registered to start in january. so far the process has went fairly smoothly. i am not overly fond of their phone system. it seems impossible to get in touch with them. have you heard any good or bad yet?

I've heard from a current student that their clinicals haven't been very organized and they're having trouble keeping enough clinical sites for the students. Hopefully, they can get that worked out. I plan to call on Fri. to try to find out what's going on. Are you going to the orientation on the 16th? I think we may be able to register for our classes afterwards, and it may help with the clinical problem if we get registered early, since it's "first come, first served". Are you enrolled for LPN or RN? I'll try to let you know if I find anything out, tomorrow! I am in Columbus and thinking of starting at Hondros College. Anyone know how they expect payment? Hopefully they don't expect the entire year upfront. Also, what has been your experiences with Hondros, folks? Very interested.....

Payment is due at the beginning of each quarter. Financial aid is available and if you do decide to stop you will only be liable for the remainder of the quarter. I have not started yet but so far it seems to be going smoothly. I have heard some complaints from past and current students about clinicals being unavailable, but the staff has assured me that there will be no problems. We will see... good luck

hi animal!! for some reason i can't send private messages. i did get yours, and thanks. i registered for classes but i did get a 4 hour gap between a class and a lab, so i have to figure out what to do for that time. my first day of clinicals was today and it seems like a nice place. i have no med background so this is all overwhelming (i don't know what i'm doing yet!)...so how was it when you took the dosage exam? any other complaints you have about the school?

hey animal...could you tell me how to leave you a message? i forget the term you used. I just got home from clinical and I'm actually tired! it was our 2nd day and i did a few bed baths, feedings, and changed sheets. I know these are the smaller things, but i felt like i was actually doing something ( as opposed to my previous desk jobs). my schedule is all weird for next semester! monday i have psy 1-5. tues= clinical 7-4:30, wed=off, thurs= medsurg 9-11 and lab 2:30-4:20, fri= medsurg 8-10 & pharm 10-1. i will make sure to get on the pharm right away...bio is my hardest class now. so i will be working on math and bio this weekend! thanks so much for your advices its great to talk to someone who has been there before :)
