Anyone going to CSU Stanislaus Spring 09?

Hi everyone! I'm new here & I'm loving this site! So much information - thank you to all you posters!

I was just accepted at CSU Stanislaus for the Spring 09 Semester & was hoping to connect with some fellow students who will be attending or anyone who is currently in or has gone through their program. I'm a new Stanislaus student so I don't know ANYTHING really about the school or the program! It's a little daunting! Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

I'm so excited to finally be in a program! I've applied to Modesto Junior College for 3 semesters and was rejected each time thanks to the lottery system! This was my first opportunity to apply at Stanislaus - so I'm so grateful & lucky to have been accepted! Can't wait to start classes on 2/16 - hope to hear from some of my new classmates!

My boyfriend is almost finished with the business program at stanislaus. I even sat in a few of his classes with him. The campus is the most gorgeous campus I have ever seen (Of the CSUs I have only seen 4 though). It has lakes and ducks and it's pretty big. I actually live in fremont about 90 miles away, but I'm still looking into going there, as well as modesto junior college and some colleges out here. He actually lives right across the street, which is good because he says the parking is terrible. But he looked into the nursing program for me and he said it seemed pretty good, and the students there seem to like it. If I could get into any place that I wanted, that would be my number one choice. Congratulations!

when you applied for the program when were you notified of the acceptance. Also if you don't mind please let me know what your GPA was overall, science and non-science, and teas score were. I am looking forward to applying at for spring 2011 but would like to know what kind of numbers got you accepted. Your input will be greatly appreciated.
