Is their any differnce in the spring and fall at lmu?

Good luck!!! I have been looking into that program but I'd have to wait another 2 years before I could apply, because of childcare. I live in Blount County so that would have been perfect.

I've opted for Roane State's program but I'm doing it through RODP:

LMU's program is really expensive but according to their website 97% get assistance. I really can't see spending so much for the same degree from RSCC but I would apply to every program and see where I get in. Here in East Tennessee we have so many options, we really are lucky.

I will say that I did read a thread on the Tennessee board that a former LMU NS wrote.

Hey again! Have you gotten anything else from them? I sent in my confirmation and my $100 deposit, but they never sent any sort of reciept or anything! I am soo excited, I wish our orientation was sooner. Of course, I am going to the St.Mary's site, so I dunno if we will have orientation together or not?

I am so excited! I have to take A/P II and Microbiology this summer, it is cheaper at Pellissippi, then I will be ready for Nursing School. I still have to take the two madnatory classes with LMU but they are only one hour classes, so I should be able to squeeze them in the evening time. Whoo hoo! I want to get my books already, I cant wait till orientation. Do you know when or where we get our uniforms- I guess we have to wait on that one!!!

Hey! What two classes are you having to take at LMU? I called them today, and they did get my confirmation and my check- so that is good! I do not know where we have to get our uniforms. I did see in the nursing handbook that we have to wear white scrub pants and shirts! I am excited too! I am sure we will have to wait to get our book and uniforms. I saw for the first class (NURS 115) we have to have 7 books. If I am correct, I think that is the only class we take during first semester.

I will be at LMU blount! Some evening classes at West Knox! Did anyone get their clinical schedule!!!!????? Anyone know how often lab/clinical will be. Trying to decide on childcare.

Hi! I will have some evening classes at West Knox too. I was told that I will have my lecture for Nursing 115 on Fridays from 9-2. Conrad said that I will be in clinical either Monday or Wedensday for 8 hours. He didn't say weather they would be during the day or night. Did you get the packet from school yet? I am going to St.Marys', but I got a packet with a welcome letter, and a letter about oreintation. Did you order the book yet? {Henke's Med-Math ,Dosage Calculation, Preparation and Administration? I ordered mine yesturday. I figure I better get started, since we have to have the first 10 chapters read by the first day of class.

Very helpful! I have rcvd my packet and I ordered the book yesterday from textbooks.com- 34.50 no shipping. I am so excited. I have to take FT classes for financial aid so I am trying to decide if I should put my daughter in daycare but if I only have those 2 days of morning classes I will just let my mom watch her and her dad can pick her up. I live in Knoxville off ball camp. You?
