Just looking for some insight on LMU Nursing Program thru Blount County? I will be starting in August, excited and scared. I originally thought I was applying for Jan. 09, but I got in for Aug. 08!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Everyone,

I am new to the site. I have applied to LMU LPN-RN program for May 09, I am excited and nervous. I have all pf my prerequites done except micro and speech. I am not sure how their process works, I do however know that in the papers it states you have to be an LPN for 1 yr. I have been for about 7 months. Anyone have any info on any of these subjects? Do they really make you wait until May or the last minute to find out if you got in?

I am so excited! I have to take A/P II and Microbiology this summer, it is cheaper at Pellissippi, then I will be ready for Nursing School. I still have to take the two madnatory classes with LMU but they are only one hour classes, so I should be able to squeeze them in the evening time. Whoo hoo! I want to get my books already, I cant wait till orientation. Do you know when or where we get our uniforms- I guess we have to wait on that one!!!

I looking at the Lmu program and I did not know that you could apply without you have anatomy two not done By the way can i ask what your gpa is mine is not two good and I'm really not sure just lokking for some help
