I was just wondering if anyone has heard anything from Golden West Nursing Program for fall 2009. I am waiting impatiently and I just want to know.
The letter I received had a number to call to RSVP or whatever they call it for the TEAS Test so I called that number...I'm sorry I don't remember her name!
I remember last semester people on here posted that they got letters and I got my rejection a couple days later! Let me know if you guys get anything in the mail and good luck!!
I also got the TEAS Test letter today. And before I get too excited, I would like to know if that means I am accepted (even if just an alternate). Thanks!
Did you call the office and ask? Let me know if you do and what info they give you. I thought that they accept you on conditions you pass the TEAS so I think its weird that they didn't tell us whether we are accepted or not!
I got my rejection today I will apply to Saddleback and GWC one more time before the Spring '10 semester in hopes I get in there because they are so much closer to home than Cerritos is. I was a Fall '09 alternate there and will probably be admitted there for Spring '10 considering my rank.
Ok so I got a letter that said I am scheduled to take the TEAS on Monday June 8th...It doesn't say anything about being accepted, denied or on the alternate list. Did anyone else get this letter? I know last semester I just got a rejection letter...I called the office and the lady didn't really clear things up for me. Let me know! Thanks!
.. i got the same letter from them, last march though...i took the test already ...passed it.. and at that very same day, they tell you whether you're officially in .. goodluck!!!! =)..
i received my rejection letter from gwc over the weekend. i was accepted into saddleback's program for fall 2009. i wasn't terribly disappointed that i didn't get into gwc, obviously.
good luck on the teas test! i ordered the study guide off of the teas website and took one practice test and i scored a 82% or something like that.
make sure you know your general science stuff...like rocks, plates of the earth...and all of that other stuff that we learned in elementary/middle school. there were 4-5 questions on the test and i was just like "what are they talking about!?!?"

Really? I swear I saw something from another SoCal CC for a 70s % passing rate. At any rate, I'm glad I have one less thing to stress out about since waiting is ENOUGH! Ugh.
