I am enrolled to start classes in May. Their online program is new (RN to BSN) but has all of the appropriate accreditation. They are still developing a BSN to MSN program. I was enrolled in the University of Phoenix Online and loved it, but financially it was too much! Would love to hear from anyone else doing the distance learning route.

Cindy,
I did not know that FHC offered on-line Nursing, but that is really great! I know some people here in Orlando FL that have finished their RN through the FHC traditional program and they have been very happy with their experience.
I admin a forum for local Orlando Student Nurses that includes FHC students...You should drop by sometime...

I'm finishing the RN to BSN at University of Phoenix May 19th (woohoo!), and am slated to start the MSN program also right after. Would be interested in info about Florida though. Think I'll go find it. Thanks....
:balloons: Congrats on completing your BSN, Trauma! Do you know what avenue you want to pursue with your MSN? BTW, visit http://www.fhchs.edu for more info on Florida Hospital College.

I have been looking into this program. The recruiter couldn't answer my question about clinicals though. When I called, she said they were still designing the program. Any details?

Hope this helps!
How funny that this thread is finally answered!!! I have since gone on to this program and graduated in April. I would recommend this program, and would be happy to answer any questions....

Congradulations on your graduation!!! Did you enjoy the program? How was your experience overall? I already have my BSN, but my best friend/coworker is considering the program and I have looked into it in detail for her. Looks like a great opportunity. Low tuition in comparision to other accredited programs.

When I checked in to this program which I here is very good. They told me that they didn't accept graduates from Excelsior College. So I am am trying Nova Southeastern which goes all the way up to Phd. Does any one have any information on them?

I enjoyed this program...but as with courses taken online, there are a ton of papers to write!!! It was a challenging program, but definitely do-able, and it is accredited and the tuition is definitely more affordable than other programs. I would recommend it to anyone!

So excited to meet someone in this program as I am now in the process of enrolling.
And I'm very glad you're so receptive to questions cause I've got a few. How many clinical hours did you need to complete? What's the lenght of each class - 8weeks? What did you find most difficult? Where the instructors open to providing assistance when asked? Any cons you can think of? I've seen online the cost per credit but how was the addition fees - ie books, lab fees, graduation fee etc?
Congradulations on your accomplishment! :yeah:Please let us how things go after graduation.
And thanks for the info.
