Anyone have experience with Certified Background?

I have used them twice for a background check. Both times took about 4 business days. I have info from out of state and that is what took the extra day. They found all my in state info in 3 days. So when they say 3-5, it truly was 3-5 for me

Our nursing school used them. It took me about a week for my background check. The system lost my drug test form, so I had to manually call them to set up a drug test.

Thanks for the info! I did get the results of my drug test back, but still waiting on the background check. Hopefully all is cleared by the due date (Nov 1st)

I posted my paperwork on September 16th and it took until October 8th for the background check to be completed. No idea why it took that long for mine. Part of it was done sooner but it didn't complete until the 8th.

it really has nothing to do with certifiedbackground, they are just a medium for keeping all your info in one location which makes it easier for the nursing school and yourself to access...the background check information is sent to the State and they electronically send the results to certifiedbackground. So if your State takes long to process it then the results won't show up on certifiedbackground.com you can always call certified to find out stuff, their reps are very helpful.

I had to deal with certified background for my background check, drug test, and medical document manager. My background check came back in about 8 hours. My drug test took 2 weeks for them to post my results, but they had an issue getting the information from the facility I took my test at.
