Anyone else waiting to hear from Holmes CC?

I am waiting to hear back from Holmes about their ADN program. Is anyone else?

Hi! I called Holmes Grenada campus today and was told that they hoped to have the letters out by the middle of May. I am hoping that means by the end of next week. Not knowing is killing me. LOL!!

OK. Let me get this straight, first they said sometime in April, then they said hopefully by the 30th of April, then it was in May, then by the first week of May, now it is middle of May? I don't know about you guys but I have things I need to take care of. I have been accepted to Hinds also. Holmes is my first choice b/c I need an extra class at Hinds which equates to an extra $300. I was trying to save myself some time and money. So, I am going to be going to Hinds to register for classes which may be pointless if I get into Holmes but may not be. if I don't get in. Plus Hinds is a farther away. Ok. I just needed to vent! I am just a little frustrated. Their deadline was a week and a half before Hinds and Hinds let us know before Easter like the 15th of April or so...I guess there are more applicants. Hmmmm....

Okay..... I just called Holmes. The lady that answered the phone said, "I had hoped to get them mailed out this week, but if I don't,it will be the first of next week." I asked how many applicants there were and she said 729 between Grenada and Gooman campus together. I asked did she know what the average ACT score was for the applicants and she said not at this time.

However, I called last week and they had hoped to get them out by May 1, but if not they would have them out by the end of this week.

Having said all of that.......not real sure when we will get them! :bugeyes:

I didn't think to ask if "ALL" of the rejection letters had been mailed out....... that would be a pretty good indicator of who "might" be accepted.

When i called yesterday they did tell me that they had already sent out alot of the turn down letters. I am hoping since I haven't gotten one of them that is a good sign.

I am still waiting and it is May 7. But I applied to the nights and weekends program for LPN's do anyone know someone who have heard from that program?

I have been reading emails on this blog for the past two weeks hoping to get information about the ADN program at Holmes. We also have been waiting for an acceptance letter. I wanted to let you know that IT CAME IN THE MAIL TODAY!!! It is dated May 8. Good luck to everyone!

I got my letter yesterday. I Got in!!!! so did one of my best friends. Congratulations to everyone who got in, can't wait to meet you. I will be going to the Grenada campus.:dancgrp::anpom::anpom::anpom:
