Anyone else still waiting for scroll?

Published

I was selected during the Oct '17 board & am still waiting for scroll to process me. Anyone else still waiting?

Me too. It's very frustrating.

Does scroll wait time vary for each component? For example, is there a different approval time for soldiers in the reserve, soldiers in the guard, and soldiers in active duty? I've been reading everything I can find about the scroll process from this website and others. I've seen people say that it can take 4 - 6 weeks, but I've seen others wait for many, many months.

From what I have noticed there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason in regards to active or reserves in the scroll process. My recruiter had told me generally 30-45 days & we passed that January 1st. So as of right now those of us who have not scrolled yet it's been 4 1/2 mths. When they say it's a hurry up & wait game they mean it.

What area or you all in? I am in southeast. My recruiter had explained to me it could take up to 6 months. It's the first thing we did at the beginning of my application process. He also explained that the scroll is approved for a group of people at time and that if there is error in anyone's file the entire group gets put on hold until it's all correct.

I'm in the northeast. My recruiter told me I was selected in November. My paperwork didn't go in until the end of December. Im hopping to hear something soon.

Interesting information. My paperwork was completed and submitted beginning of Aug '17 prior to board. I guess I just assumed everyone else's was as well. Sounds like, depending on who gets placed in your group, your processing can be held up due to their paperwork issues... And if your timeline is correct then fingers crossed we should all hear something within the next month...

I am also waiting on my scroll. I was selected February 6, it's been 45 days. My recruiter said that typically for the navy 2 weeks after you are selected your scroll is ready. The assignment coordinator said the same thing. Everyone that i have spoken to said this is the longest it has taken in a long while.

What branch are you all joining? Have you had any luck yet?

I am a 66S in the Army Reserves out of Oklahoma. I am patiently waiting. Lol

Anyone hear anything yet ?
