ANYONE ELSE IN TEXAS???

Published

Just wanted to see if there are any fellow Texas nurses in TPAPN?

Yup. 1 year, 3 months. How long have you been in?

3 years! I have less than 5 months of this hell left!

I'm in Texas but not in TPAPN. I'm sorry to hear you are. I've heard it's pure hell.

I'm in TX and will be required to do TPAPN. I am awaiting my permanent license to get everything started.

I know it will be a long road. Been sober 15 years, so I am hoping they do not recommend any treatment. I am being told they are not sure if they will even require an eval, but, how can they not? How will they know how to treat my case if they do not do an eval?

Anyway, playing the waiting game right now.

Good luck and DM me if you have any questions/concerns. We can help each other through this!

I’m trying to move to Texas and get a contract there. TPAPN can’t be any worse than IPN.

What’s TPAPN like? I’m in IPN in Florida and all contracts are 5 years so texas doesn’t seem so bad by comparison.

Wow 5 years?! I'd die....it's not great here, but it could be worse I suppose.

TPAPN isn't that bad from what I've heard, and my case management team was nothing but incredible.

Hey guys keep with it. i just completed 1 year with self reporting. my case manager really wasn't invested in her job it seemed but after alot of anxiety i made it. keep going its possible.

1 year, 6 months......Halfway done!

I am not in TPAPN but I do have stipulations on my license. I am looking for work in or around Tyler, TX. Does anyone know who will hire. I've tried everywhere! Thanks guys.

If you wanting to work in a hospital try UT beside Christus. They usually do not have a problem working with stips. I do know home health will sometimes hire as well in the area.
