I took my test yesterday and it cut me off at 90....and I only knew about 5% of what was on it!!!! I guessed the rest, and when I came home and looked some of the stuff up, I got some right and some wrong of those I could remember!!!

I have a 2 year old and a 4 year old and work as a nurse in Canada full time so didn't get TOO much opportunity to study, but of the stuff on it, I had not seen any of it in my revision at all!!!!

don't get to find out for 4 weeks as I registered for a license in California. anyone else get cut off before 100?

....by the way I have been specialized in Ostomy/Wound care for 10 years and not general nursed, and NEVER general nursed in North America so this was a lot of new stuff to me :( will I ever pass!!!!!!

You just can't predict with this exam. Honest the test is over at the moment and all you can do is relax and wait for results (I know easier said than done)

Good luck

I feel the same way. I want to vomit. I feel so sad...not because I don't think I can do it, but because I simply do not want to go thru it again. My boyfriend is a Social Worker and their licensing tells them immediately. It's not like it's hard. If it knows when to stop, it knows what I scored. What the heck? The waiting is killing me...day 1...lol tried that "trick" and even that was inconclusive. oh well, I'll just keep praying...

Yes, I had 75 questions. It took me 1 hour and 30 min and I passed. I don't know, I must be crazy, because I did not find this test hard. I thought my review questions from Kaplan and the questions I got in school was much harder than the board. Good luck, you passed

I think it depends on the questions, are they random or does EVERYONE in EVERY state get the same ones in a 45 day period?

I found a lot of "check all that apply" and I find those tough, plus I found some of them hard that asked for which client required IMMEDIATE attention - as I said I have been specialized for 10 years as an ET Nurse and so even meds and stuff are hard for me.

I have resigned myself to the fact that I will need to study for the next 45 days in prep for getting my 'fail' notice.

they are random questions and you will get different questions. My classmates and I have all said we got alot of priority and delegation, infection control and pharm. My girlfriend graduated in Dec 07 and her class got alot of endocrine questions. It definitely is random, however, I am not sure if everyone get the same questions, its hard to say

Wishing you good luck.

I PASSED!!!!!! And I just bought some new Kaplan stuff because I was so sure I failed LOL....Critical thinking even when you don't know the answer pays off!!!!!
