Anyone else applying to Charity school of nursing for fall 2014

Hi, I was just curious to see who else was applying for charity school of nursing fall 2014. My profile score is currently a 60. it would be higher if I had a&p 2 finish but im not taking that class until after I turn in my application. I made an 80 on my hesi, but im going to retake it right before I turn in my app to try and get a higher score to replace the profile points I'm missing for not having a&p 2 done yet.

Can anyone tell me what are required as far as immunizations, physicals etc....

I heard it through the grape vine that they are going to drug test us at that mandatory meeting next week. so I hope your system is clean.

Hello everyone...congrats on ur acceptance to charity...i knw u all are anxious but just wait til u go for ur meeting next week to worry about what all is needed. There are a lot of shots/immunizations needed...but its not the immunization information they want, they want titers...so i would just wait. The books ARE NOT mandatory...i bought the books and I honestly hate them...so wish i would have just bought the actual book and if u use amazon and stuff like that u can get them cheaper. I would also wait on the ebooks until they tell u to buy them bc u cant register them until after school starts and that goes for the clickers...u cant buy the nurse pack until u register...i would just concentrate on the immunization stuff they tell u about on next week...the other stuff isnt that important at the moment.

Also they are soooo very serious about deadlines...if they say its needed or due by a certain date...its due by that date or sorry u will not be able to start in the Fall...welcome to Charity where ur life now revolves around nursing school...honestly i havent found it that difficult...just being honest and Yes im passing...no im not barely passing.

Oh another thing DO NOT listen to the negative stuff about nursing school...block all that out!!!!! I cant say that enough, everyones experience is sooooooooooo different...and it seems that the only ones who voice their views on nursing school are those with a negative impact. I love it...i study (well try) everyday so i dnt cram bc cramming isnt going to get it in nursing school. thats the best advice i received about nursing school...
