Anyone else applying to Charity school of nursing for fall 2014

Published

Hi, I was just curious to see who else was applying for charity school of nursing fall 2014. My profile score is currently a 60. it would be higher if I had a&p 2 finish but im not taking that class until after I turn in my application. I made an 80 on my hesi, but im going to retake it right before I turn in my app to try and get a higher score to replace the profile points I'm missing for not having a&p 2 done yet.

I'm also going tomorrow.

me three! see y'all there :)

what do we need to bring with us?

went to the meeting today, it was kind of confusing. but came home and re read everything. kind of understand it more!

if anyone has any questions, I'm here :)

I'm going tomorrow. How was the parking situation? Any info on immunizations, blood work or CPR certs?

Yes, I work on the weekends.

the tuition was around $1700.00 and the ebooks were $702. The uniforms weren't that bad..the tops were $25.00 each. CPR was $55. and I have healthcare insurance so my immunizations were covered. Oh yeah immunitrax was 150 and you also have to get liablity insurance...so save your coins! Its a good thing you guys don't start until the fall that way you all have more time to prepare!

@Jayjormom it's going pretty good...I can't believe that we are at midterm already. My advice to you is to practice NCLEX style questions from the Success Books, they are great! These books help you to think critically as you would as a nurse.

@naeema_rnhopeful What location are you doing your clinicals at

I got in!!! I'm so excited!!!! Good luck everyone and for the one's that didn't get in never give up!!!

Anyone going to orientation Thursday????

I just created a basic facebook page for the Charity Fall 2014 class with the link https://www.facebook.com/charitysonfall2014

I figure it is an easy way for us to communicate, plan study groups, carpools, etc.
