Anyone else applying to Charity school of nursing for fall 2014

Published

Hi, I was just curious to see who else was applying for charity school of nursing fall 2014. My profile score is currently a 60. it would be higher if I had a&p 2 finish but im not taking that class until after I turn in my application. I made an 80 on my hesi, but im going to retake it right before I turn in my app to try and get a higher score to replace the profile points I'm missing for not having a&p 2 done yet.

This may be a silly question but does anyone know if the acceptance and rejection letters come in different sized envelopes? Wanna know what to look for in march!!!!

Start saving your money now! The health requirements can be quite expensive once you are accepted. Our books were $765 and they are required ebooks. Save your money so you do not have to work a lot when you are in school! Good luck everyone!

The rejection letters come in a thin small envelope and the acceptance letters come in a large envelope. Good luck to you. I have had the experience of receiving both envelopes..lol I applied in the fall and I did not get in, but thank God I got in the second time around.

I've applied for fall 2014 and awaiting the arrival of the most important letter of my life. I've completed all my pre-reqs by the hardest and have taken the HESI twice. The first time i took the HESI i made an 82 but i took it before taking and completing A&P2 lab and lect and micro but i retook it after i completed them and made an 86. My profile score is a 90 and i'm praying that its high enough to be accepted. Very nervous because i know how competitive getting into the program is...GOOD Luck everyone !!!!!!!

You should be a lock with a 90.

I hope your right Tigermike !!! hopefully they send out letters sooner than March. I can't wait to meet all my new fellow classmates.

I applied last fall and the profile score cut off was 75. I'm applying for the lpn to rn transition program and was wondering if anyone can give me some information on what to expect any information would be greatly appreciated.

Losing my mind waiting, I was already turned down for LPN bc I had a C in nutrition. I got an 85 on the hesi, but my profile score is a 65 due to me dropping classes, all pre reqs done, 3.89 gpa, so while I wait im getting a general studies degree to add points, this is the hardest wait EVER

Apply to other programs instead of waiting. I'm currently at Delgado and Nicholls. I felt like applying to charity would be a waste of time for me they are way too competitive and I'd rather graduate with my BSN. Try Baton Rouge general nursing program

Baton Rouge seems so far away, are there any other local ones other than lsu and carey and poplarville?

Our lady of holy cross is the only other New Orleans program I know and Dillard but they are expensive and favor their own students.

Omg I got in!!!! I'm soooooooooo excited!!!!
