Anyone from CA who found out their results via mail....

.... instead of from the BRN website? And was it positive/negative? Im kinda in a nervous wreck right now. 8 days since I took my exam and still nothing. How long before you got your mail? Help!!:o

Update: I found out on day 9 that I passed! I saw my name posted on the BRN website. I have yet to receive the "official" mail! Yipee! :)

A friend got her results in 3 1/2 wks. So I think you just never know when that envelope (which I'm going to pass out when I see it in the mailbox) will arrive.

The first week waiting was torture, your mind playing with you, going over and over questions from the exam. But this 2nd week is much better.

I'm hoping mine will show up next week. Wed. would be a good day

It's just that I keep thinking if you dont see your name on the BRN website before you receive the mail - the result of the exam is probably not the one the one we want. I really, really hope I'm wrong.

i think ur result negative. this is not end of world. start study again. i failed first time. and i got mail after 4 weeks. and i failed. i wasted my 4 weeks waiting for result. donot do like me. just be realistice. start doing saunder cd. that cd is helping me a lot.

Just wanna update everyone... I PASSED!!!!!! I got my results today. Day 9 after my test. Thanks so much for all your support! Now I can go shopping!!! :balloons:

Yes she passed. This was for LVN and someone on the LVN thread just heard she passed and it was the same time, 3 1/2 wks. I don't think the wait time matters if you passed or failed. Someone said the weight/bulk of the envelope does though. Failed will have more inside the envelope with the breakdown why you failed etc. But I keep hearing all kinds of "if the envelope is yellow you failed, big envelope you failed, heavy envelope you failed.

This all might be different for RN though...

I'll just wait for my little white envelope!

Thanks! I actually havent received my mail. I just saw my name on the BRN website this morning when I checked. Honestly, I wasn't expecting it... I was just so surprised, I had to ask someone to check it for me just to make sure that was really me... :)

I hope you get your results soon! Will still pray for you!
