I need info regarding classes, days and hours? I will be starting july 2013

What school did u get into?

I got into Cerritos . And trust me I am still surprised god was deff on my side that day

I will also be starting July 2013. From what they've told me the classes are from 8am-5pm Monday-Friday for first term. I think at some point we go down to 1 or 2 days in class and clinicals 3 or 4 days a week and that can be an AM or PM shift. I am not an LVN but a pharmacy technician and I'm pretty sure the DON is going to accept most all of the applicants who have prior healthcare experience. This school is not WASC accredited but it will give us a valid RN license. We can then get a BSN at West Coast, Western Governor's, or University of Phoenix. I think we might have to redo the prerequisites for the BSN. There has been the rumor that nursing will go all BSN for years. Most veteran nurses only hold an associates, it will be really hard to change the minimum education with them in the work force.

Do not go to cni I almost signed up and they are not wasc accredited alot if hospitals will not even hire without a wasc accredited degree!!!! Go to west coast if you really just want private or try mount saint marys bc u will pay money and my even be able to get bsn ! I was In the same boat as you as was so close to singing up for that piece of crap school !

Really? That's interesting, I never thought they looked at your degree. In fact no job I have ever been to has asked for a copy of my degree, just a copy of my RN license....

Well what I've been told I wouldn't have been able to get my bsn the school is not wasc accredited and I'm not willing to take that chance at all !!! Especially when the school Is 60 grand !! I don't know everyone has their own opinion my moms a nurse and my aunt is np and I just was advised not to do any school that is not wasc . I just feel bad for anyone that is pressured into feeling that's there last choice bc I was in hat situation and it's not cool I know these school are all about the money they will tell you anything

I don't know for every hospital but I know some do. And i don't know why would you even want to go to a school that's wasn't wasc accredited !? Worst idea you would never be able to go to another school you would have to do the whole program all over again and I know this for a fact ! It's my opinion I just feel bad for anyone that would think about this school I was almost tricked into goig here I rather spend the extra money and go to west coast

Hmmm.. I don't think so the employers will look at where u graduate. I think they look at experience....and even if u graduated from school not WASC, you still have option to get your BSN at UoPx, , National University etc. As for me I don't have the time of the world to be waiting on this lottery system at cc's or even have time to compete who has more points to get into the RN program.

Employers do not ask if you graduated from a WASC accredited school. They ask if you come from an NLNAC or CCNE accredited school. In this case, CNI is under a letter of review. Upon its first or second graduating class they should have CCNE accreditation.
