I need info regarding classes, days and hours? I will be starting july 2013
If there are then please list some schools to help people that may be reading this blog. Not just hearsay. We are not trying to discourage but actually HELP people from making the wrong choice. Yes it is up to everyone to do their OWN research. That is what I stated previously. I was merely trying to warn people about those specific schools that I listed. Isn't that what this website is for? To spread information that might help others in making their decision.
Didn't I just listed schools?? WGU, University of Phoenix, keiser university, national university. Help people?? what can u do if they still want to go to school like CNI, Everest College, Unitek College, Will you stop them to pursue their dreams? What if they can't wait from community colleges to get into the program? What if they have rejected from cc's so many times and its been couple years?? Is it a Wrong choice to get a degree from school that arent WASC? No, because they still can get their BSN, MSN...

Whoa you are assuming wayyy to much. Who said I was stopping them to pursue their dreams? All I did was list the Cal State schools and Azusa Pacific that did not take transfers for credits from CNI. And I said please do your research before you decide. No need to get angry. I never said it was a wrong or right choice. I said please do your research. THAT IS ALL.
And NO before this previous post you did not list schools. You said "there are and have been schools.. And even some Cal States." That is not listing specific schools. Then you went on to say one must find out requirements for entering University of Phoenix and WGU. That, in my opinion, did not mean that they would take CNI credits. But now that you have listed schools, I'm sure you have helped tons of people in their decision. I hope we can end this argument because I did not mean to offend anyone.

I was in this position also very upset with the whole rn nursing program not getting in my first time . Hopefully everything works out for everyone just don't listen to admission reps it's their job to make quota and make sales ..... ( they will tell you anything you want to hear )....
In all fairness I guess I did say that it has to be WASC accredited in order to transfer to a BSN. Let me rephrase that. This is true for these schools in particular: CSULA, CSULB, CSUF, Azusa Pacific, Cal Baptist. Tiffdef also said she contacted University of Phoenix and WGU so there are two more. Again, I would recommend contacting the schools you are interested in specifically to see if the credits would transfer to a BSN. I would hate for anyone to pay $60K plus to find out that they couldn't transfer credits to their dream school. And yes, in my opinion that is HELPING people. It's helping people make an INFORMED decision.
CNI credits will not transfer as far as I know but it is a valid RN license and there are a lot of schools that will accept it. You may have to retake most or all of your prerequisites to get a BSN. I believe West Coast University will accept CNI's RN license and have you retake the prerequisites at WCU. I will call WCU tomorrow to find out for certain.
I have spoken to university of Phoenix and NationalUniversity reps and told me that I can get into their BSN program. I just need the RN license and plus I have taken all the prereqs for RN at community colleges so I think I'm good.
That's great!! Happy it worked out for you :) I think the only places you couldn't are schools that are WASC accredited because they have to follow their guidelines. Anyhow, I'm glad there are other options for students out there. I know it's hard to get into CC's because they're so impacted. Good luck to you.

thank you...as of now i just want to get my license....my DON is waiting for me to upgrade my title from LVN to RN ;D
Oh. And I would also like to add Mount St Mary's to that non-NLNAC list. I have two friends who graduated from there. One works at Cedars Sinai, and the other at UCLA. So... no it does NOT need to be NLNAC accredited for many hospitals. And in my opinion, those are pretty prestigious ones in Los Angeles if you ask me.
If they are not NLNAC are they CCNE? If you read my original post I said, "NLNAC OR CCNE."
