Anyone attending Anoka Tech?

Just wondering if anyone else is starting their nursing classes this year at Anoka Tech? I start on August 25th!:yeah:

I went through their program from spring of 05 - spring of 06. Say hi to Patty and Connie from Andy. Also will you let them know that I am currently working in the Buffalo Hospial ER, Urgent Care and Medsurg floor. They usually are interested in where their graduates have ended up.

Will do! Buffalo is right up the road from me, I just applied at the Monticello BL hospital for a NA position. Did you like to program at ATC?

Loved it. They have a very high boards passing rate. They were all so friendly. It was great!

Im attending anoka tech nursing program.. Jan 09.

Im there right now just getting my CNA ect... Looks like a great school. I know a girl that Grad from there she loved it. Said it was hard but worth iT! :)

Hi Sweetiez!~ Do you happen to know how competative Anoka Tech is and if they have a long waiting list? Thanks a lot for any information. :rolleyes:

They dont keep a running waiting list. You have to have cpr, first aid and your cna class done and be listed on the registry and have completed any classes if you didnt pass the accuplacer test at the correct level. Once you have all that done you can hand in that packet proving you have it all done, and then your in! If it fills up they will keep 5 people on the waiting list for that semester incase others change their mind before starting. I was 3 on the list and got called within 24 hours after handing in my stuff and was told I was in. You can find the check off list on their site for the things that need to be done before starting. I was able to complete that list in about 1 months time. I took a 3 week CNA class and my state test a few days after to get on the registry. Just let me know if you have any questions! Good Luck!

SO how are things going for you after 3 weeks? My nephew started there this fall only he is in IT.

I'm an RN but remember how nervous I was in school. What classes are you taking this semester? Do you have clinicals yet? I hear the program is good, so best of luck with all you do.
