Just wondering who was close. I see lots of people from Greenville.
Welcome to New Bern (alittle early!). :)
Thanks! :) DO you know what the pay scale is for there? In living in SAn Diego right now, so I know it's going to be way lower than out here since there's such a big difference in the cost of living. Also, any info on places to work around the area would be great, I'm kinda nervous about how easy it's going to be to find a job since it's such a small town. TIA Heather
Can you give me come info. about Craven and the area? Is it on the water? email me at [email protected]I'm in New Bern!
hey...
i figure you must be grad. in dec from craven community college, is that right? i just graduated from craven in may. taking boards july 1st...i'm going to work at pitt hospital in greenville simply because i did not like my rotations at craven regional and i did not like the mentality of administration. during our "recruitment" dinner they said 'we are not in the daycare business nor will we ever be' in response to a question from one of my classmates about having on-site daycare. i get the feeling from the admin. that they are concerned more with themselves than the nurses and that sentiment is reflected in the sour attitudes of the majority of the nurses i encountered at craven hospital.
that's my two cents...

Live in Greenville now, thinking of going to work for Craven, go thru there all the time to get to beach (guess who's a beach bum!) and used to live in Havelock when married....I think I was meant to be down there!
