Anyone applying to Tidewater Community College for Fall 2013?

Everyday I race home to the mailbox...at this point I am so worried of letting everyone else down (my family) if I dont get in. Does anyone else feel that way too?

Yes, I understand ...i feel the exact same way. No letter today, Ill check back tomorrow

Hello all! Well I contacted Mrs. Trotter today and she did state that letters should be coming out inthe next 2 weeks. You guys have to just think positive and let GOD do his work. I did however have a plan B. I also applied at HU college of Va Bch. I received my provisional acceptance on Saturday!!!!! Thing is I had to committ today. They gave me no time at all to even think about it. If I do received an acceptance letter from TCC I need to decide which school to attend. I'd rather have my BSN but TCC is much quicker for me. I will cross that bridge when I come to it. Again, good luck to you all in your journey's in becoming nurses!!!!!

Thank you! Once I applied---I stopped worrying and gave it up to HIM. Whatever happens ...happens. TCC is not the only school out here.

Congratulations Graduate2010! I understand the checking the mailbox daily. If I am not home, someone else checks it and sends me a text message (giggling). If you do not get a letter, you are not letting anyone down. Just keep working toward your goal. If you have all your pre-reqs done, you can always take a class that counts towards a BSN. Hoping we all have great news soon!

Ugh...I'm sorry. Hopefully tomorrow! Where does everyone live (like Va Beach, Norfolk, etc) just to see who might get their letter first since they live closer to Portsmouth. I am in Virginia Beach...

Hey guys. Yesterday I checked my mail and got super excited to see a letter from TCC. When I opened it I was quickly saddened to discover that it was merely a letter about my financial aid. LOL I am hoping the letter will come today and that it is the acceptance letter I have been waiting for. By the way, I am in Virginia Beach as well. Good luck and lets stay positive!!!
