Anyone applying to Rush?

U.S.A. Illinois

I just wanted to see if there is anyone else applying to Rush University for the BSN program. I applied for the accelerated four quarter program starting in January 2008...still waiting for a response from them!

I was there in April for the TEAS. Unfortunately I did great on the TEAS but didn't get accepted.

For the one year program you will begin the TEAS and when you're done you will wait for your turn to be interviewed. They interview individually with two staff members present.

Good luck!! I think Rush is a great school. I may do my RN-BSN there.

hello guys, new member here ... i'm applying to the bsn (non accelerated) program to rush right now for fall 2007, but i have a huge feeling they are full bc so many people are trying to get in everywhere. if it is full, i will definitely be applying for the next term if, of course i'm not in some other ns by then. i'm somewhat of a late applicant bc i have recently decided to go to nursing school. i tried calling the other day to talk to the counselor, but she wasn't in.

anyone know if the seats are in fact, full for '07 nonaccelerated bsn prgm?

anyone applying/applied/got accepted to the fall '07 bsn non-accelerated term?

and has anyone heard anything about the program @ rush like if the faculty is any good/caring/ or even bitchy, if the program is difficult, etc?? any info would greatly be appreciated!!!

hi all =)

i got a call from them today and my interview is march 30th at 9:30 am and TEAS at 10 am. anybody have any idea how their interviews are gonna be or what kind of questions? all i know is that it's with 2 faculty members...

also what will you be wearing? suits? or is business casual ok?

just thinking about it makesme nervous and the butterflies in my stomach are certainly doing their rounds... good luck to all!

Wow, you got a really late call. I believe someone said that we would be individually interviewed. I have mine with 3 faculty members at 1. My TEAS is at 9. Are you prepared for your TEAS?

I just wanted to say good luck to everyone interviewing tomorrow! :)

i'm so nervous about the TEAS and the interview. butterflies in my stomach are fluttering around just thinking about it. i'm not sure how the interview or the TEAS will go. they gave me a choice between tmw or second week of april, but since i'm on spring break i'd rather have it done now.

how have you prepared for the TEAS? do you feel ready?

good luck to all! =)

I'm a bit nervous about the Science portion. Other sections I think I'm ok with. I really nervous about the interview. Anyways good luck everyone. I will see you all there in 2 hrs.

i can breathe a sigh of relief that it's over! whew...

i was sooo nervous about the interview.

how did you guys think you did? =)

Me too, it's OVER. now the wait begins. The interview was not as nerve-wrecking as I thought....

I didn't think the interview or the TEAS (okay, especially the TEAS!) were bad at all. My interview didn't last any more than twenty minutes, and they only asked me three questions.

How did everyone else's interview and TEAS go?

I hope we hear soon!

I wonder if we were asked similar questions.

mine were:

1. why I want to be a nurse? and why now?

2. what is my definition of a nurse

3. list and explain 5 things about me that makes me a good nurse

there were also questions like do i have a car? how will i pay for school....things like that

Does anyone know anything about the CRNA program at Rush? Are u guys talking about the one in Chicago?
