Anyone applying to Madonna University

I thought the TEAS 5 was a little harder for me than the TEAS 4. I agree with you about getting the 80, I actually was a little shy of getting the overall grade of an 80. The science portion hurt me because it was a lot of general chem and bio and I took those classes over 10 years ago, so it wasn't fresh in my mind like A&P. The testing person at Madonna said I could take it again at Madonna. I am just debating whether or not I could be ready in a month to take the TEAS again. Its just the bio and chem I would have to review. I started the essay for Madonna already, so I will be able to submit that part in July.

You are right about OU, I think the traditional BSN has a wait once you are accepted. I know the Accelerated BSN is like an 18 month wait once you do the interview and get accepted. I know some people who had to interview twice to get in and another person who didn't get accepted again. I guess all schools use different criteria to decide who they pick into their programs.

I wonder if an advisor at Madonna would tell me a certain score they are looking for on the TEAS. I just don't want my score to hurt my chances of getting in because of my science section score.

I think this is a bit late in getting to you but I think if you got close to an 80 on the TEAS 5 then you would be good and I wouldn't retake it. I got in the 80's on the TEAS 4 and got accepted with that :)

I talked to the testing person at Madonna and she said scores are good for 2 years, so I took the TEAS IV in spring of 2009 and I got in the 80s, however, I took the TEAS V in June and only got a 76.77 overall. I thought it was a little harder this time with the science and that is the section that broiught my overall score down. I just needed to review the gen chem and gen bio more. I got in the 80s and in the 90s on the other 3 sections. I'm kind of nervous that my score isn't good enough to get accepted.

Hi! I would efiantely think those scores are high enough. When I was saying that you would be good if you got 80 or up that was for the version 4 so I really wouldn't bother retaking it, I'm sure you'll get in. :yeah:

Hello, I just got accepted into the Madonna University Nursing Program for Jan 2012. Im very nervous, does anyone know if its extrememly hard or ok?

Hmmm..I'm in it now and I don't know how to answer. Its not terrible and definately so far okay but it's very different then my prereq's there. Congrats on getting in!

Thank you, im very excited to start. I was just wondering if madonna has an accelerated nursing program, meaning we can finish it in a year and half instead of 2 years and a semester???? My cousin was telling me about it, but I am going to call and make sure so I can do it. Have u heard of it??

I have no idea what you're talking about. I've never heard of that and as far as I know they do not offer an accelerated nursing program even for second degree students. Where you accepted to the school or the actual nursing program?

I got accepted to the nursing program,ive been in the school for a year, :lol2: anyways, I emailed ------------ about it so I will know as soon as possible.

I'm currently a HFCC student, and considering of going to Madonna. I've applied for Madonna today, for Fall 2013 and waiting to see if I am accepted to the school or not. I've completed all of my pre-reqs for HFCC, but failed the NET test the first time I have taken it, but I plan to take it again this Fall. I heard that Madonna has a great nursing program,but a little confused about the Nursing admission process. Do you know when do you take the critical thinking, writing assessment, and entrance test? Do you complete these after all your pre-reqs are done at Madonna, or after you are accepted to Madonna University? How is the nursing program? Any other feedback I appreciate alot! Thanks for helping me!
