anyone applying to gsu spring 2012 my GPA is 3.4. Im retaking the teas i got a 76, i think, the first time. i asked before but not to many people responded, so im asking again:D.

Where do you feel most comfortable? also you should consider what are your future plans? If you are planning on furthering your education in nursing does CSU offer higher degree. Other things that you should also consider is do you have other classes you need to fulfill while in nursing school. We all heard how demanding nursing school is so be sure to weigh all your options before making a decision. Whatever you decide, you will make someone very happy either at GSU or CSU.

Mom2011, I remember you telling me that GSU was your first choice. I say re-evaluate why it was your first choice and why your mind has changed now. Which program is more convenient for you? Which is a better fit for your long and short term goals? Which is most economical, if that is a factor. Weigh your pros and cons and be honest with yourself. You know yourself better than we do, so you know whats most important to and for you. Honestly at the end of the day, when you finish and pass your licensing exam, you'll be an RN whether you choose GSU or CSU. I hope this helps!

I'm working on my application for Fall 2011. I'm not getting my hopes up on the wait list. Can I get some ideas on what to write for the 2 page essay?

Kuhelski, I know right! I still want to know what's going on! Lol!!! When do they start accepting apps for Fall 2012? What was your essay about last time?

I know the deadline is March 1. I know that if you submit your application early and if ur TEAS score and GPA is in the high 15% they might allow early admit. I have redo my entire app including taking the TEAS. I'm hoping to have it completed by classes begin so it is not competing with all the Fall 2011 apps.

I did my essay on same sex marriage. This time I'm thinking of something health related like obesity.

Did you apply for ACE or TRAD?

My GPA will keep me out of the top 15% until I retake those classes, but I'm going to go for it anyway. I applied for both but ACE is my preference.

swall, who told you that? Ms. *** said that she always goes deeper than number 2. You're most likely gonna get in because I moved up a number in 1 day but that was like 2 weeks ago and i havnt checked since then. I was #7 the last time I checked.

svictor1- I got my letter last Monday and went to see Ms. *** the next day. She didn't make it sound as bleak as I wrote :)- she said don't lose faith but it may not be your time. I just took that to mean don't get your hopes up because it may not happen, but I really appreciate your post about what she said to you! i guess we just have to wait out this holiday week and ask what position we are on the list next week.

Does anyone know if it's possible to transfer to the ACE from the traditional or vice versa? If I get in the traditional, I might not accept because if I started the ACE next fall I'd still be finished sooner than if I started the traditional in January...
